STATEMENT : How is TROIKA doing ?
Alongside the travel industry, the promotional product market is probably one that the Covid-19 pandemic has hit the most. TROIKA relies on both industries and is certainly not profiting from this crisis 😉
What have we and the industry thought over the past 12 years? That business is always on the rise? We have been spoiled by endless growth. However, the more the crisis hurts us, the more difficult it is to raise to the challenge, pick up the phone (no email this time!) and call our customers.
We will have to be patient until we can experience a stable recovery of the industry. Back in March, I thought it would be over by September 2020... Now we know it will take at least 2 or 3 years to return to where we were before the crisis.
It is all the more important to display a positive attitude as we approach 2021. We will fight, shake up our customers and the industry to show that we are still here and being proactive. Troika has still plenty to offer.
We have to differentiate ourselves, try something new, care for every customers and fight for every budget; bring constant innovation and not bury our heads in the sand. Yes, costs can be saved and stand sizes reduced, but in the end, customers will be won over with innovative ideas, not thanks to the politicians of this world. Please bring optimism and persuasiveness in 2021
This is not the first crisis TROIKA has faced, there has been a few in the last 30 years and it will not be the last. We have fought and survived, and we have always learned along the way, even if it’s been painful and comes at a high financial cost.
SO: Let’s get up! Shake off the dust !! Keep going!!
